The Manager/Senior Mechanical Maintenance Manager role is a Remote opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and manage a mechanical maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation of our textile machinery. This position requires a strong background in mechanical maintenance within the textile processing industry, along with a commitment to safety and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the mechanical maintenance team to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance of textile machinery, minimizing downtime during breakdowns.
- Maintain and optimize utilities including boilers, compressors, pumps, and steam systems.
- Monitor and improve machine efficiency (OEE) through effective planning and execution of shutdown maintenance.
- Control spare parts inventory and maintenance costs while implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices.
- Collaborate with the production team to drive continuous improvement and ensure safety compliance with proper documentation.
What You Bring
- Proven experience with CBR, Gellar, KCML Jigger Machines, Dye Washers, CPB, E Control Machine, Print Washer, Stenter, and Sanforizer.
- Strong knowledge of steam systems, thermic, and pneumatics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills with a focus on energy saving and cost optimization.
- Demonstrated leadership and team handling capabilities.
- Familiarity with maintenance software, preferably SAP.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the textile processing, dyeing, or printing industry.
- Strong decision-making ability and a willingness to work in a plant environment.
