Elishah M.

Elishah Mae J. is a Registered Librarian and Digital Information Specialist who has dedicated more than seven years to advancing academic and school libraries. Currently serving as Head Librarian at Negros Oriental State University, she manages both traditional and digital library services, assisting patrons with research and directing the daily operations of the Circulation Section. Her responsibilities include supervising personnel, maintaining circulation records, and managing the university's digital platforms to enhance information access. Previously, at Foundation University, she led library instruction programs that focused on teaching users to find and evaluate information effectively. Elishah contributes to KNOWRSU Bookmark by authoring engaging content that promotes library initiatives. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science from Silliman University and is pursuing a Master of Science in Library Science. Elishah is a participant in the professional librarian community as the Public Information Officer for the Negros Oriental Librarians Association.
