As a GIS Expert at the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, he has mapped over 730 hectares of community land and developed WebGIS platforms to advance transparency and investment across Indonesia’s outer islands. In his role as a Hydrographic Engineer for the Water Resources Agency of Jakarta, Mufti Ali F. executed bathymetric surveys with advanced multibeam echosounder technology and processed seabed data using HYPACK. He has contributed to research projects focused on mangrove biomass, remote sensing, and machine learning for carbon projections, collaborating with public organizations and the shipping industry. His technical proficiency spans ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Engine, and drone mapping, with practical experience integrating remote sensing, spatial analysis, and in-situ fieldwork to support climate mitigation, coastal ecosystem health, and carbon project evaluation.
