Lead Software Engineer

The Stack / Tools

Technologies: Python, C#, Node.js, Java, REST APIs, microservices, SQL, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), React, Angular, Docker, Kubernetes.

The Work

Lead the design and development of scalable web applications and backend systems.

Architect and build APIs, distributed services, and cloud-based solutions.

Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

Review code, mentor developers, and uphold engineering standards across the team.

Participate in system design discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.

Enhance performance, scalability, security, and maintainability of applications.

Drive best practices in software engineering and foster team collaboration.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Python, C#, Node.js, or Java.
• Proficiency in REST APIs, microservices, SQL, and database design.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with frontend technologies like React or Angular is a plus.
• Strong understanding of scalable system architecture.
• Proven experience in leading projects or mentoring developers.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• DevOps or CI/CD experience.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Background in SaaS product development.
• Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
