- display public job listings and public Jobseeker profile information;
- process subscriptions, purchases, refunds, and invoices;
- operate referral and affiliate programs;
- generate job description drafts and profile content;
- analyze applications and identify potentially suspicious, low-quality, or relevant applications;
- send account, security, application, billing, and service notifications;

For users in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases may include performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, consent, and our legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and promoting the Service. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
4. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Processing
Online.Jobs uses automation operated through n8n and OpenAI API services for the following purposes:
- extracting information from an uploaded résumé or document and generating draft profile content;
- generating draft job descriptions from information provided by Employers;
- analyzing application content, including cover letters and relevant experience;
- detecting suspicious, spam-like, or low-quality applications;
- generating application scores, summaries, or feedback that may affect how an application is categorized or displayed within the Service.
AI-generated information may contain errors. Users should review generated profile and job-post content before publishing it.
AI tools do not make final hiring decisions. Employers remain responsible for reviewing candidates and making all interview and hiring decisions.
We do not use résumés, application content, or other user-provided personal information to train our own AI models. We use API-based AI services configured so that submitted data is not used to train general-purpose models.
Uploaded documents and application information are not shared with third parties for their own advertising purposes.
If you believe an automated assessment is inaccurate, you may contact [email protected] and request a review.
5. Public Profiles and Sharing Between Users
Job Posts: Approved job posts may be publicly visible to any visitor.
Jobseeker Profiles: When a Jobseeker enables public profile visibility, selected profile information may be visible to any visitor, including the Jobseeker's display name, country, professional information, skills, experience, education, languages, portfolio, salary expectations, availability, photos, and reviews.
Résumés and Contact Information: A résumé, email address, social media accounts, and direct contact details are not intended to be publicly displayed to every visitor. They may be made available to authorized Employers based on the Employer's subscription, candidate-access permissions, and an existing application or hiring interaction.
Private Profiles: When a Jobseeker hides their profile, it is removed from public candidate search and should no longer be available to unrelated visitors through a direct profile link. Employers connected to the Jobseeker through an existing application or active conversation may continue to access information required for that interaction.
Messages and Applications: Application information and messages are shared with the Employer responsible for the relevant job post. They may also be accessible to authorized Online.Jobs administrators or moderators for support, safety, and enforcement purposes.

We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising and analytics technologies may, depending on applicable law, be considered a disclosure or "sharing" of information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. Where required, we provide consent and opt-out controls.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal.
8. International Data Processing
Online.Jobs is operated by a United States company. Our primary application infrastructure and database are hosted through DigitalOcean, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries.
The privacy and data-protection laws of those countries may differ from the laws in your country. You may contact [email protected] to request additional information about the providers and processing locations relevant to your information.
9. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Service, maintaining security, resolving disputes, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

Employer Accounts: Employer accounts currently do not have a self-service deletion feature. Employers may request account closure or deletion by contacting [email protected]. We may deactivate or anonymize the public account while retaining limited billing, transaction, job-posting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal records where retention is reasonably necessary or required by law.
Payment Records: Limited transaction, subscription, invoice, and accounting records may be retained after account closure when required for legal, tax, accounting, chargeback, or fraud-prevention purposes. Online.Jobs does not retain full card numbers.
Communications and Legal Records: Messages, complaints, reports, and related records may be retained where necessary to handle disputes, enforce our Terms, protect users, or comply with legal obligations.
Backups and Technical Logs: Deleted information may remain in restricted backups or technical logs until those backups or logs are overwritten in accordance with our operational retention cycle.

The Service is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly allow individuals under 18 to create accounts. If you believe that a person under 18 has provided personal information to us, contact [email protected].

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These measures include HTTPS, password hashing, access controls, restricted administrative access, security monitoring, and storage-security controls.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. Where required, we may also provide notice through the Service or by email.
