Construction Estimator (Remote)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team in a Remote capacity. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in assisting with tendering BOQS and preparing comprehensive tenders for builders.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and analyze Bill of Quantities (BOQs) for various construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather necessary information for tender submissions.
- Develop and compile detailed tender documents to ensure accurate representation of project costs.
- Review and assess contractor bids to ensure compliance with project specifications and budgetary constraints.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, pricing, and regulations to inform tender preparation.
- Provide support in negotiations with builders and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
- Proficiency in using estimation software and tools to create accurate cost assessments.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure precision in tender documents.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
- Certification in construction management or estimation is a plus.
