Refer-an-Employer Program Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern participation in the Refer-an-Employer Program (the "Program") operated by Online Jobs Media LLC in connection with the online.jobs platform (the "Platform"). By participating in the Program, including by generating a referral link, sending a referral, or claiming a reward, you (the "Referrer") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not participate in the Program.
1. Eligibility
To participate as a Referrer, you must hold an active online.jobs freelancer account in good standing and be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
You must comply with these Terms, the online.jobs Terms of Service, and all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Online Jobs Media LLC are not eligible to earn rewards under the Program.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your participation at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or manipulative activity.
2. Definitions
- Referrer: the eligible online.jobs freelancer who refers an employer through the Program.
- Referred Employer: a person or business that registers an employer account on online.jobs through the Referrer's unique referral link or referral email, and who has never previously held an account on the Platform.
- Qualifying Action: the purchase of a paid subscription by a Referred Employer for which full payment has been received and cleared by online.jobs.
- Reward: the referral payment of $50.00, payable in USDT, as described in Section 4.
- Holding Period: the 30-day period described in Section 5 that must elapse before a Reward is released.
- Eligible Country: a country included on the Program's eligible-country list maintained by online.jobs, as described in Section 3.
3. Qualifying Referrals
A referral qualifies for a Reward only when all of the following conditions are met:
- The Referred Employer registers a new employer account using the Referrer's unique referral link or referral email.
- The Referred Employer is located in, and registers from, an Eligible Country, unless online.jobs has given the Referrer prior written approval to refer employers from other countries.
- The Referred Employer is genuinely new to online.jobs and has not previously registered, used, or held any account on the Platform.
- The Referred Employer completes a Qualifying Action, that is, purchases a paid subscription and online.jobs receives and clears full payment for it.
- The Holding Period described in Section 5 elapses without refund, chargeback, reversal, cancellation, or a finding of fraud or ineligibility.
Eligible Countries for the Program currently include Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, Cyprus, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Portugal, sweden, Singapore, United States. The current, controlling list of Eligible Countries is maintained by online.jobs and may be updated from time to time at our discretion. Referrals of employers outside the Eligible Countries do not qualify for a Reward unless online.jobs has given the Referrer prior written approval to refer employers from the relevant country. This geographic eligibility rule applies to Reward eligibility under the Program only; it does not restrict which employers may register for or use the Platform.
The Reward is a fixed amount of $50.00 per qualifying referral and does not vary with the subscription plan, tier, term, or price the Referred Employer purchases.
Each Referred Employer may generate a Reward only once and for only one Referrer. Where more than one Referrer refers the same employer, the Reward is attributed to the first valid referral received, as determined by our records. Our records are the sole and final basis for attribution.
There is no cap on the number of distinct employers you may refer, subject to these Terms and our fraud-prevention measures.
4. Rewards
The Reward for each qualifying referral is $50.00, paid in USDT.
Rewards are denominated in US dollars and settled in USDT on a 1:1 USD-value basis at the time of payout. You acknowledge that USDT is a third-party digital asset, that online.jobs does not issue or control it, and that online.jobs is not responsible for its value, availability, or the operation of any blockchain network.
There is no minimum balance required to receive a payout; each Reward is paid once it has cleared the Holding Period and any applicable review.
You are solely responsible for providing a valid, correct USDT wallet address and for specifying the correct network. Rewards sent to an address or network you provided cannot be reversed, recovered, or re-issued, and online.jobs has no liability for losses arising from an incorrect, incompatible, or compromised address.
Any blockchain network, transaction, or gas fees associated with a payout may be deducted from or applied to the Reward, and online.jobs is not responsible for fees imposed by third parties.
Rewards have no cash-equivalent guarantee beyond their stated USD value, are non-transferable except as expressly provided, and may not be sold, assigned, or exchanged other than as part of a payout you receive.
5. Holding Period and Payment Timing
Each Reward is subject to a Holding Period of 30 days. The Holding Period begins on the date that online.jobs receives and clears full payment for the Referred Employer's Qualifying Action.
The Holding Period allows online.jobs to account for refunds, chargebacks, payment reversals, cancellations, and fraud or eligibility review. During the Holding Period the Reward is visible in your account as "Pending" for tracking purposes only; it is not yet earned, may not be withdrawn or invoiced, and will not be paid until the Holding Period has elapsed and any applicable review is cleared.
If, at any time during the Holding Period, the Referred Employer's payment is refunded, charged back, reversed, or cancelled, or the referral is found not to meet these Terms, the Reward will not be paid and any associated pending balance will be cancelled.
Provided the conditions in these Terms remain satisfied at the end of the Holding Period, the Reward will be released to your designated USDT wallet within a reasonable period thereafter.
6. Tracking and Attribution
Referrals are tracked using your unique referral link, referral email, or other tracking mechanism we provide. You must use only the official tracking tools made available through the Program.
Attribution of any referral, the validity of any Qualifying Action, and the eligibility of any Referred Employer are determined by online.jobs using our own systems and records, which are final and binding.
We are not responsible for referrals that fail to register due to browser settings, ad blockers, cookie restrictions, the Referred Employer's use of a different device or link, or other technical factors outside our reasonable control.
7. Prohibited Conduct and Fraud Prevention
The following are strictly prohibited and will void any associated Reward and may result in suspension or termination of your account:
- Self-referrals, or referring an employer account that you own, control, or operate, including through an alternate, secondary, or related account.
- Creating fake, duplicate, or fraudulent employer accounts, or referring employers who are not genuine prospective customers.
- Referring existing or returning online.jobs employers, or employers who are not new to the Platform.
- Spamming, sending unsolicited bulk messages, or using deceptive, misleading, or unauthorized claims about online.jobs to obtain a referral.
- Bidding on online.jobs trademarks or brand terms in paid search, or impersonating online.jobs, in order to capture or divert referrals.
- Using bots, scripts, automated tools, or coordinated schemes to generate referrals.
- Any activity intended to circumvent these Terms, the attribution rules, or our fraud controls.
We may apply additional fraud controls, including a minimum account age for Referred Employers before a referral counts, limits on payouts associated with a single IP address, device, or payment instrument, and manual review where a Referrer generates an unusually high number of referrals in a short period.
We reserve the right to withhold, delay, reduce, or cancel any Reward, and to reverse any payout, where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, ineligibility, or breach of these Terms. Where we reasonably determine that a Reward was obtained through fraud or breach, you agree that we may recover or offset its value against current or future Rewards.
8. Taxes
You are solely responsible for determining, reporting, and paying any taxes, levies, or duties applicable to Rewards you receive under the laws of your country of residence or any other applicable jurisdiction.
online.jobs does not provide tax advice and makes no representation regarding the tax treatment of Rewards. Where required by law, we may request tax information from you and may withhold or report amounts as required.
9. Changes to or Termination of the Program
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Program, or change these Terms, including reward amounts, eligibility, Eligible Country lists, holding periods, and payout methods, at any time and at our sole discretion.
Changes take effect when posted, unless we state otherwise. Your continued participation after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Referrals for which all qualifying conditions were fully satisfied before a change or termination took effect will be honored under the Terms in effect at that time, subject to our fraud-prevention rights.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Program is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, online.jobs disclaims all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Program.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, online.jobs and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or digital assets, arising out of or relating to the Program. Our total aggregate liability in connection with the Program will not exceed the total value of Rewards properly payable to you under these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
11. General
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Online Jobs Media LLC, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the online.jobs Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Program.
Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
