Are you detail-obsessed, a fast learner, and great with customers in writing? Do you want to grow with a small, hardworking shop instead of being a number at a big company? I run a personalized-gift shop and I'm looking for one reliable teammate to help me keep customers happy and orders flowing.
This starts part-time and focused, and grows over time into a bigger role as we build trust and a rhythm that works for both of us.
This begins with a 60-day trial so we can both make sure it's a great fit. You do not need any Etsy experience. I would honestly rather train you fresh on my exact system than undo old habits. What I can't teach is being careful, being kind to customers, and actually reading instructions, so that's what I'm hiring for.
What You'll Do (starting out)
- Answer customer messages in a warm, professional, on-brand way
- Process daily orders through our print partners (all in the browser, I'll train you step by step)
- Make small updates to product listings when I ask
- Flag anything unusual to me instead of guessing
- Send me a short end-of-day summary of what you handled
What It Grows Into
As you get comfortable and prove you're precise, the role expands. You'll start with our Etsy shop, and over time that can grow to include helping with our Shopify store as well, creating full new product listings, keyword and SEO research, and taking on more of the customized orders that need extra care. If you have a good design eye or any Photoshop or Illustrator familiarity, that's a real plus for working accurately with our product files, and it is not required to start.
What I'm Looking For
- Fluent, natural written English
- Excellent, patient customer service instincts
- Extreme attention to detail and a personal error rate under 1%
- Someone who reads instructions fully and follows them exactly
- Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable learning new browser tools
- Reliable internet and your own computer
- Available 7 days a week in short sessions, 1 to 3 hours a day, with a session earlier in your day and another in your evening (your evening overlaps our US customers' daytime), with flexibility for the occasional planned day off
- Flexible on hours as we head into the busy holiday season
- Willing to focus on this shop and not take on competing Etsy work
- Bonus: a keen eye for design, and any Photoshop or Illustrator familiarity
The Setup
- Part-time to start, with the real possibility of more hours and a bigger role as the shop grows
- Competitive hourly pay with performance bonuses for low error rates
- Weekly pay
- A split shift each day (a short session in the morning and another in the evening) so customers never wait long
- You work from your own computer, in your browser, using the shop accounts I set up for you
