Freelance Digital Guide & PDF Designer

I am looking for a highly skilled freelance designer to create polished, premium digital PDFs and guides for a luxury health, wellness and nutrition brand.

The content will be provided, but I need someone who can transform written material into beautiful, highly polished, professionally designed digital products that feel more like a high-end editorial publication than a typical Canva wellness guide.

This could become an ongoing relationship for the right person, with multiple guides, workbooks, client resources, meal plans and educational materials to design throughout the year.

What You’ll Create

Projects may include:

• Digital health and nutrition guides
• Client workbooks and programme materials
• Meal plans and recipe books
• Educational ebooks
• Lead magnets
• Worksheets and trackers
• Coaching resources
• Presentation-style PDFs
• Guides incorporating charts, tables, graphics and educational content

Documents may range from approximately 10–100+ pages.

The Design Style

The aesthetic should be:

• Premium and sophisticated
• Clean and editorial
• Modern and elevated
• Feminine without being overly “girly”
• Luxury wellness rather than generic wellness
• Highly readable and easy to navigate
• Consistent with an established premium brand identity

Think luxury skincare/beauty editorial meets high-end health publication.I am specifically looking for someone who understands how to make scientific and educational content feel beautiful, accessible and aspirational without compromising credibility.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Transform supplied copy into beautifully designed PDFs
• Create strong page layouts and visual hierarchy
• Establish consistent typography and spacing
• Design tables, charts, worksheets and educational graphics
• Format recipes and meal plans
• Select and appropriately incorporate imagery
• Ensure documents are easy to read and navigate
• Create clickable tables of contents and internal links where appropriate
• Prepare files for digital distribution
• Make revisions based on feedback
• Maintain consistency across multiple projects and documents

Requirements

You should have:

• Proven experience designing ebooks, workbooks, digital guides or editorial PDFs
• A strong portfolio demonstrating polished, premium design
• Excellent typography and layout skills
• Experience with Canva, Adobe InDesign or similar professional design software
• The ability to work with large amounts of written content without making the design feel cluttered
• Strong attention to detail
• An understanding of visual hierarchy and information design
• Excellent communication and reliability
• The ability to work independently from a supplied brief and brand guidelines

Deliverables

For each project, I will provide the written content and relevant brand assets.

You will be responsible for delivering:

1. A fully designed, polished PDF
2. A digital-optimised version suitable for online distribution
3. An editable source file, preferably in Canva or InDesign
4. Any relevant image or design assets used in the document

What I’m Looking For

Please do not apply if your portfolio primarily consists of generic Canva templates, social media graphics or basic lead magnets.

I am looking for someone with a strong editorial eye and a sophisticated design sensibility who can make a 50-page health guide look genuinely premium.
