We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Independent Travel Advisor to join Xperience Xscape Travels. In this remote role, you will assist clients with research, planning, and booking seamless travel experiences, including flights, hotels, cruises, tours, and vacation packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Itinerary Planning: Create tailored travel itineraries based on client preferences, budgets, and travel goals.
- Booking & Management: Reserve flights, accommodations, transportation, guided tours, and insurance packages using booking platforms and vendor portals.
- Client Relations: Respond to client inquiries, provide expert travel recommendations, and offer support before, during, and after trips.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively address travel disruptions, booking changes, cancellations, or emergency inquiries.
- Vendor Coordination: Maintain strong relationships with travel suppliers to secure competitive rates and amenities for clients.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 0-1+ years of experience as a travel advisor, agent, or in a client-facing role within the travel/hospitality industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with major destinations, travel trends, visa/passport requirements, and travel insurance options.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with booking engines, GDS systems, or itinerary management software .
- Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Workplace: Self-starter with strong time-management skills and a reliable internet connection.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in luxury, group, or destination wedding/honeymoon travel, (plus, but not required)
- Active client pipeline or experience with social media/marketing for travel services.
