Talent1X is recruiting on behalf of a growing U.S.-based Insurance Agency seeking an experienced Applied Epic Accounting Assistant to join their accounting team.
This is NOT a general VA role — we are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on insurance agency accounting experience using Applied Epic.
💰 Compensation: $7 – $9 per hour
🌎 Location: Remote (Philippines Only)
⏰ Schedule: U.S. Business Hours
📅 Start Date: Immediate
🔹 Key Responsibilities
✔ Process invoices, receipts, and payments within Applied Epic
✔ Manage Agency Bill & Direct Bill accounting transactions
✔ Apply client and carrier payments accurately
✔ Perform carrier and account reconciliations
✔ Assist with commission tracking and reconciliation
✔ Support month-end accounting processes
✔ Conduct policy accounting reviews to verify premiums, billing accuracy, endorsements, cancellations, and financial entries
✔ Ensure policies are properly reflected in accounting records
🔹 Qualifications
✅ 2–4 years Applied Epic Accounting experience (REQUIRED) and studied Accounting in School
✅ Experience supporting a U.S. Insurance Agency
✅ Strong knowledge of insurance accounting workflows
✅ Agency Bill vs Direct Bill understanding
✅ High attention to detail and accuracy
✅ Strong English communication skills
⭐ Wholesale Insurance / MGA / Broker experience is a strong PLUS
