We are seeking a talented IP Litigation Attorney for immediate interview across our San Diego (Del Mar), San Francisco, and Silicon Valley offices. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a sophisticated patent litigation practice handling high-stakes matters in federal courts, the ITC, and PTAB.
What We're Looking For:
- JD from an accredited law school
- 3–6 years of patent litigation experience
- Strong academic credentials
- Admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
- Excellent analytical, writing, and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach
What You'll Do:
- Handle patent litigation in federal district court, including fact development, discovery, motion practice, expert issues, and trial preparation
- Manage ITC (Section 337) investigations, including coordination with parallel district court and/or PTAB proceedings
- Draft high-quality briefs, motions, and client communications
- Work closely with technical experts and quickly master complex technologies to build clear, persuasive arguments
- Handle PTAB proceedings, including IPRs
- Engage with SEP/FRAND disputes and matters involving telecommunications and multimedia standards (e.g., cellular, Wi-Fi, video coding)
