I run a portfolio of faceless YouTube channels from the Netherlands with a remote team of scriptwriters, video editors and thumbnail artists. I'm looking for one person to become my right hand on the operational side.
Start date, hours and salary
Starting 1 October 2026. You begin at around 12 hours a week while you learn the channel and the pipeline. As you take on more — and as we add channels — that grows toward full-time, up to 40 hours a week. How fast depends on you. Pay is negotiable, and grows as your responsibilities do.
How this grows
You start with one channel — BloopUniverse, in the celebrity bloopers and compilations niche — and you run it end to end. Once it's running smoothly, we add a second channel built on AI scripts and voiceover. Then a third, and so on. The portfolio is expanding, and I need someone who grows with it rather than someone I have to replace when it does. Your rate goes up as the scope does.
So the first months are about BloopUniverse, done properly. The long game is that you manage several channels, each with its own team.
Working with AI is a requirement, not a bonus
Read this part carefully, because it's the core of the job.
For my other channels I've built AI agents that produce first drafts of scripts and thumbnail concepts. You paste in the title and references, and the agent gives you something back. That part is easy. What I'm hiring for is everything after: judging what came out, rewriting it, sharpening it, and rejecting it when it isn't good enough.
Daily work with Claude and ChatGPT is non-negotiable. If you're not already using these tools every day and getting real results out of them, this role isn't for you. But if you know why one prompt lands and another doesn't, and you can spot mediocre AI output in three seconds, you'll do well here.
Week to week
- Brief and chase our scriptwriters, editors and thumbnail artists — deadlines, feedback, revisions
- Upload and schedule: titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, end screens, playlists
- Keep the content calendar current so nobody is waiting on anyone
- Report weekly on views, CTR and retention — and tell me what you think it means
- Write and publish community posts
- Run the AI agents for scripts and thumbnails, then rewrite, sharpen and reject until the output is genuinely good (at a later stage)

I pick the topics. You own everything from there to published, with my input whenever you need it.
What I'm looking for
- Creative judgment. You can read a script and know which joke doesn't land. You can look at a thumbnail and know why nobody would click it.
- Strong communication skills — clear, prompt, and proactive
- Experience managing and directing freelancers
- Excellent written English — you'll be rewriting scripts, not proofreading them
- Hands-on YouTube Studio experience
- You fix things without being asked. If something in the pipeline is broken, I want your solution, not just the problem.
- At least 4 hours of overlap with Central European Time
- Daily, fluent use of Claude and ChatGPT (required — see above)
Nice to have
- Experience with faceless or compilation channels
- Experience coordinating freelancers
- You find this stuff funny. If celebrity bloopers make you laugh, you'll be better at this than someone who doesn't care.
Terms
- Freelance contractor, paid monthly. You invoice me; you handle your own taxes.
- Rate is negotiable — tell me what you're looking for and we'll discuss it. I pay for judgment, not for hours logged.
- Flexible hours. Deadlines matter, the clock doesn't.
- Real ownership. You run the channel; I'm not looking over your shoulder daily.
