YOUTUBE EDITOR - Remote
We are seeking a skilled Long-Form Video Editor for an ongoing, project-based role. You'll edit horizontal YouTube videos and a weekly audio podcast, turning raw footage into polished, on-brand content by following a clear cut sheet and style guide.
What You'll Do
* Edit horizontal talking-head videos, cutting between two camera angles cleanly and keeping audio in sync.
* Combine footage with slides — placing 1080x1080 slide cards into half of a 16:9 frame, timed to the exact spoken line.
* Record your own screen recordings (tools, prompts, dashboards, websites) and cut them in as clean inserts with zooms, highlights, and cursor emphasis.
* Add b-roll, captions, on-screen text, simple motion graphics, and logo/brand assets.
* Handle basic colour correction plus audio cleanup and leveling.
* Edit a minimum of one audio podcast episode per week to a clean, publishable standard (also posted to YouTube with a thumbnail).
* Manage and deliver files through Dropbox, and turn around revisions quickly from timestamped notes.
What You Bring
* Proven experience editing long-form, talking-head, or educational video content.
* Fluency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve, with the ability to export to spec.
* Comfort combining multiple source types — footage, slides, and screen recordings — in one clean edit.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to following a cut sheet and style guide exactly.
* Strong communication and reliability.

Nice to Have
* Ability to produce audio reels (audiograms) from the podcast for iTunes / promotion.
