Afeef H. is an emerging talent in the field of civil engineering, specializing in transportation engineering, surveying, and foundation analysis. Educated at Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi, Afeef has cultivated a strong foundation in both academic and practical aspects of the field. During a six-week internship at CSIR-CRRI, Afeef engaged in the analysis of minor junctions using IRC standards, which provided hands-on exposure to traffic movement patterns and geometric design parameters. His technical toolkit includes proficiency in AutoCAD, ETABS, and STAAD Foundation, which have been instrumental in structural modeling and foundation design. Notably, Afeef's academic project involved BIM-driven foundation analysis for urban high-rises, highlighting his capacity to integrate advanced tools like Revit and Navisworks in structural planning. Experienced in utilizing surveying instruments such as Total Station and Theodolite, Afeef has conducted surveying exercises across varied terrains. His passion for innovation is further evidenced by his active involvement in the Entrepreneurship Cell at his university.
