Damara N. is an accomplished marine biologist and science educator with extensive postgraduate research experience focused on dolphin behavior and acoustic ecology. Obtaining her MSc in Biological Sciences from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, she specialized in marine mammal behavior and dolphin acoustic research. Her work has involved investigating the drivers of dolphin presence and bycatch patterns using passive acoustic monitoring, alongside conducting comprehensive statistical analyses through tools like Raven Pro, PAMGuard, and RStudio. As a conservation co-ordinator at The SEALS organization, she managed media and funding initiatives and engaged in project coordination. With a proven track record in teaching science and English in South Korea, Damara skillfully develops structured lesson plans catering to diverse language abilities, fostering a dynamic classroom environment.
