Building on her foundation in chemical engineering from Escuela Superior Politecnica de Chimborazo, she has cultivated a strong entrepreneurial spirit aimed at creating scalable ventures in food, health, and sustainability sectors. Her participation in the EIT Food Solutions competition, where she led a winning team, has refined her abilities in leadership and project management, bolstering her skills in user-centered design and learning by doing. In her professional experience, Daniela has served as a Secondary School Teacher in Riobamba, Ecuador, teaching Chemistry and Biology, and has undertaken industry internships in Hungary and Ecuador, focusing on production and quality control. Her proficiency in HPLC, strategic planning, and active listening further complements her technical expertise. Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English, she also engages in meaningful volunteer work, including projects for cancer support and accessibility for the visually impaired.
