Gabriel A.

Gabriel A. is a Senior Maintenance and Projects Engineer with more than 24 years of experience in the downstream oil & gas sector, specializing in industrial maintenance and project leadership within refinery environments. At YPF S.A. (Luján de Cuyo and Plaza Huincul), he coordinated large-scale turnaround operations, managed both corrective and preventive maintenance, and supported asset integrity and mechanical reliability for refinery process units and utilities. Gabriel has led multidisciplinary teams during refinery shutdowns, including the coordination of the Luján de Cuyo refinery “megaparo” involving over 1,600 personnel. His experience extends to equipment procurement, medium- and small-scale project management, and participation in benchmarking projects. He is also a university lecturer in electromechanical and chemical engineering at UTN, contributing to academic development while leveraging shutdown management, asset management, and maintenance planning in high-complexity industrial contexts.
