Facilitated multi-level interactions with Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), Parliament, and civil society coalitions, including the Ministry of Gender, Labour, and Social Development, and the Ministry of Health. Managed research concerning child labour in refugee-hosting and Busoga districts, created the policy brief, and shared it with the Minister of State for Labour as the Chief Guest, leading to a significant budgetary allocation for the fight against child labour. Organized two side events at the AU addressing girls' education, early childhood development (ECD) in development contexts, and refugee movement issues, securing commitments from AU commissioners and East and Horn of Africa governments. Assisted refugee-led organizations (RLOs), INGOs, and NGOs within the refugee rights cluster in engaging in UPR, ACHPR, ACERWC, UNCRC, and CEDAW shadow reporting, while tracking the implementation of Uganda’s commitments. Led cross-learning activities among members of the refugee rights cluster and facilitated learning events with Act Alliance consortium members. Contributed to the documentation of advocacy outcomes and knowledge products for donor and partner reporting.

Performed public interest litigation for internally displaced persons (IDPs) and conflict-affected communities. Conducted comprehensive legal research and prepared pleadings, submissions, and advisory opinions. Participated in negotiations with local authorities and state actors regarding land and compensation conflicts.

Mediated disputes in the labour sector and oversaw alternative dispute resolution processes. Engaged in policy advocacy initiatives focused on safe labour externalization, which contributed to the adoption of the Employment (Recruitment of Ugandan Migrant Workers Abroad) Regulations, 2021. Developed advocacy memoranda and stakeholder briefs directed at labour inspectors, employers, and government officials.
