I'm John Kevin Codilla, a video editor and photo retoucher from Tacup, San Remigio, Cebu. I recently completed my Bachelor of Elementary Education at the University of Cebu – Lapu Lapu Mandaue, where I also gained hands-on experience in video and photo editing outside the classroom. My interest in visual storytelling started with basic photography and filmmaking training, which grew into real project work, shooting and editing full event coverage for my school's "Buwan ng Wika" celebration, and creating short videos and edited photos for class projects, school activities, and club materials. I'm skilled in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for photo retouching, color correction, and image enhancement, and I understand core filmmaking principles like shot composition, scene continuity, and pacing.
I'm now looking to grow into AI filmmaking and video creation, combining my editing background with new AI tools to tell stories in fresh ways. I'm disciplined, responsible, attention to detail, and reliable. I alwasy consistently deliver quality work on time, whether working independently or as part of a team.
