Leila M.

Leila M. is an accomplished advocate in the fields of human rights, community development, and gender equality across East Africa. As an Emerging Leader with Women Deliver, she leads community initiatives that promote women's empowerment and youth development, representing Tanzanian communities at global policy platforms. In her tenure as a Career Guidance Intern at The School of St Jude, she supported students in scholarship applications and organized career development events. At The Great African Foundation, Leila managed public relations and coordinated international conferences focused on human rights, diplomacy, and innovation, leading outreach benefiting over 150 orphans. Her experience further spans event planning, as illustrated by her role facilitating international workshops at United World College, and her capacity as Protocol Intern at the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights, where she supported high-level meetings and court operations.
