Converted existing Informatica ETL workflows to Snowflake, enhancing performance to ensure effective data migration. Developed and configured DBT (Data Build Tool) in VS Code for data transformations and automated data modeling in Snowflake, with a focus on writing dbt macros, custom materializations, seed implementation, and complex model creation. Implemented data transformation logic with dbt, integrated into a GitLab CI/CD pipeline using a custom .yml configuration, scheduling automated runs with cron-based triggers for timely data processing. Performed data cleaning and transformation using Python (Pandas, NumPy) to prepare datasets for analysis. Developed scripts for conducting data checks to confirm accurate data loading into the golden table. Designed and launched over eight interactive Power BI dashboards, achieving an improvement in dashboard performance through optimization of SQL queries and data models.
