Mariam I.

Mariam I. is a passionate communications professional with a focus on leveraging storytelling and digital content to support sustainable development goals in Lebanon and the wider region. With a strong foundation in data analysis, she led university projects centered on pollution in Lebanon, involving the collection of environmental data and the presentation of findings through clear, comprehensive reports. Her experience is enriched by creating educational content on Instagram, where she produces video reels that simplify complex topics related to the Arab world’s history and career guidance for youth. This work honed her abilities in content creation, social media management, and public engagement, effectively adapting messages for diverse audiences. While Mariam has not worked directly on GEF or GCF projects, she possesses an understanding of their significance in supporting climate action and is eager to contribute to UNDP Lebanon’s communications efforts.
