Her career began at Lungiso High School as an educator where she taught Life Sciences, English Second Language, and Life Orientation from January 1990 to January 2011. She was a pivotal member of the school management team and the disciplinary committee, implementing impactful programs like drug and alcohol prevention and providing vital support to HIV/AIDS students. Transitioning to a role as a Student Liaison Officer at East Cape Midlands TVET College, she adeptly guided students through educational pathways, administered pre-entry tests, and offered essential counseling services. From August 2013 to August 2022, she taught English First Additional Language, enhancing student experiences and maintaining rigorous standards in English grammar.
