Princess Jasmin Z. is a fourth-year BS Industrial Engineering student at the University of Santo Tomas with practical experience in the environmental management industry. During her internship with the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources – Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB), she contributed to the Air Quality Management Section by conducting rigorous compliance monitoring through daily review of CEMS/COMS emissions data, aiding early detection of irregularities. She further enhanced regulatory communication by drafting memorandums via the EMB IIS system and supported decision-making by organizing emissions data and updating AQMS charts using Power BI. Her technical proficiency includes MS Excel, AutoCAD, and SQL, which she leveraged for data analysis and visualization tasks, directly impacting process improvements within the public sector environmental monitoring domain.
