Vihaa S.

Vihaa S. is a second-year Mechatronics Engineering student at the University of Manchester, currently pursuing a BEng with an expected graduation in June 2028. Achieving First Class honors in the first year, Vihaa showcases advanced skills in embedded systems programming, low-level software development, and PCB fabrication. Proficient in C/C++, Python, and microcontroller-based system design, she has hands-on experience with hardware platforms and control logic implementation. Her project portfolio includes designing a real-time computer vision system for hand gesture control using Python and OpenCV, a PCB musical instrument, and a PID-controlled cruise control simulation. As an active member of the Robosoc at the University of Manchester and participant in Robotic Hackathons, Vihaa contributes to team-based design and testing of robotic systems. Her technical acumen is further backed by certifications in MATLAB and Simulink from MathWorks.
