Ziad K., based in Al Shorouk City, Cairo, Egypt, is currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Electronics and Communications Engineering at El Shorouk Academy. He has a profound interest in network infrastructure, specializing in routing/switching technologies and IoT systems. During a network training program at the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI), Ziad completed CCNA tracks and demonstrated skills in configuring dynamic OSPF routing, virtual LAN segmentation, and Access Control Lists (ACLs). His IoT engineering internship at SpimeSenseLabs involved beta-testing the Master Of Things IoT Cloud Platform and mapping cloud device telemetry. At the Information Technology Institute, he developed IoT applications using the MasterOfThings platform. He also trained with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology focusing on network security fundamentals. An internship at the National Bank of Kuwait exposed him to operational financial workflows. Ziad's technical toolbox includes VHDL, the Cisco Packet Tracer, and various networking protocols like NAT/PAT and VPN tunnels.
