The Stack / Tools
Accounting Software: QuickBooks, Xero, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Sage, SAP; Financial Reporting Tools: Tableau, Power BI; Compliance Tools: TaxJar, Avalara; Communication Tools: Slack, Zoom.
The Work
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment processing.
Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Generate detailed financial reports to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy during audits.
Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
Manage tax filings and ensure timely payments to maintain compliance.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices.
Provide support for financial queries from internal teams and stakeholders.
