About Effi
Effi is a browser-based livestreaming platform. Our customers run interactive live events with polls, chat, and audience engagement tools, then measure what actually worked with Effi's analytics suite. Some of our target markets include marketers, podcast and entertainment teams, and nonprofits.
How this works
This is project based, paid per post for the project, not a monthly retainer.
To start, you'll be given a list of assigned topics with briefs. Each brief includes the angle, the audience segment, target keywords, and a word count. You write, we review, you revise once if needed. We pay per accepted article.
What you'll be writing
- Long-form blog posts, 1,000 to 2,000 words, on livestreaming, audience engagement, event marketing, and livestream analytics.
- Content aimed at different segments, so a nonprofit running a donor livestream or a Tech Company hosting a live product launch.
- SEO and AEO built in: keyword-informed structure, clear and descriptive headers, meta descriptions, and content organized around the questions people are actually searching and asking. Articles should be easy for both search engines and AI answer tools to understand, extract, and cite.
Bonus (not required, but it moves you up the pile)
- Social copy experience, specifically LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and Instagram. We repurpose blog content into social posts, so if you can do both there might be some additional paid work available.
What we're looking for
- Experience writing for SaaS blogs
- Native-level written English. Clean, direct, no fluff.
- Ability to research a topic you don't already know and write about it credibly
- You use AI tools as a helper, not as the writer. We can tell, and so can our readers
- Hits deadlines and responds within a reasonable window during the week
- Experience writing content with SEO and AEO in mind. You understand search intent, keyword placement, internal structure, and how to write clear, authoritative answers that can surface in traditional search as well as AI-generated results.
How to apply
Include all of the following or your application won't be reviewed:
- Submit your resume and two or three links to blog posts you've written. B2B or SaaS samples preferred.
- If you have social copy experience, link one or two examples.
- Your rate per post.
First assignment is a single paid article. If it's good, you get the rest of the batch.
