Short-Form Gaming Video Editor (GTA V / GTA Online)
About the Role
I'm looking for a reliable video editor to help edit Grand Theft Auto V (GTA) gameplay videos for my TikTok account.
The videos are typically around 60–90 seconds long and feature voiceovers, gameplay footage, and simple visual edits designed to keep viewers engaged.
I'm looking for someone who can follow an established editing style, work efficiently, and consistently deliver quality videos.
Responsibilities
- Edit GTA V gameplay footage into engaging TikTok videos.
- Sync voiceovers with gameplay and visuals.
- Add captions and subtitles that are easy to read.
- Add relevant images, pop-ups, memes, and sound effects when appropriate.
- Maintain good pacing and remove unnecessary pauses or dead space.
- Follow reference videos and editing instructions.
- Deliver completed videos in vertical 9:16 format, suitable for TikTok.
Requirements
- Experience editing TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or other short-form videos.
- Proficiency in CapCut PC or similar editing software.
- Good understanding of pacing, timing, and viewer retention.
- Ability to follow instructions and match an existing editing style.
- Reliable communication and consistent delivery.
- A portfolio or examples of previous editing work.
Experience with GTA or gaming content is preferred but not essential.
Work Arrangement
- Remote position.
- Paid hourly, with an opportunity for ongoing work.
- Workload will depend on video requirements and editing speed.
- A short paid test edit will be used to evaluate candidates before ongoing work begins.
