Job title: Canva Graphic Designer for a Christmas Gift Catalogue

About the project
I am looking for an experienced graphic designer to create an attractive Christmas gift catalogue featuring approximately 78 products and gift sets, mainly from skincare and beauty brands.
I will provide the product photos, names, prices, pharmacy branding and visual references. Your role is to organise these materials and turn them into a polished, complete booklet that helps our customers choose their gifts.
I am looking for someone who can take ownership of the design process, work independently and communicate clearly about progress and any missing information.
The style I am looking for
The catalogue should feel elegant, warm and refined, with:
- Burgundy, white and ivory tones.
- Large, clear product photographs.
- Plenty of white space.
- Beautiful, readable typography.
- Short text and clearly displayed prices.
- Subtle festive details and a consistent look throughout.
Think of a beautifully designed beauty boutique catalogue. The products should be the main focus.
Your responsibilities
- Propose a suitable page structure and page count for approximately 78 products.
- Design the front cover, back cover and all product pages.
- Organise the gifts into clear sections, preferably by brand.
- Prepare and position the supplied product photos, including cropping and background removal where appropriate.
- Match every photograph to the correct product name and price.
- Keep typography, spacing, colours and pricing formats consistent.
- Check the finished catalogue against the supplied product list for completeness and accuracy.
- Flag any unclear or missing information.
- Incorporate the agreed feedback and prepare the final files.
At the start of the project, please create a cover and one sample product page for approval before completing the remaining pages.
Language
We can communicate in English.
The final catalogue will be in Dutch, using text that I provide or approve. You should be comfortable working carefully with supplied Dutch text, including accents, euro prices and decimal commas.
Required deliverables
- A complete, fully editable Canva design, shared with full editing access so I can update products and prices in the future.
- A high-resolution PDF prepared for printing, following the printer’s specifications.
- A smaller digital PDF suitable for sharing by email, WhatsApp and on our website.
The intended format is a compact booklet, with A5 as the starting point.
Who I am looking for
- A graphic designer with strong Canva skills.
- Proven experience designing product catalogues, brochures or retail booklets.
- A good eye for beauty, skincare and premium retail design.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially when handling product images and prices.
- Someone organised and reliable who can complete the project with limited day-to-day guidance.
