Junior Engineer - Remote
We are seeking a Junior Engineer to join our team in a Remote capacity. In this project-based role, you will be responsible for transforming simple design requests into detailed drawings for polesheds and wood buildings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.
What You'll Do
- Create detailed drawings for polesheds and wood buildings, including foundations, piles, pole sizes, and headers.
- Prepare and submit full drawing packages for review, including AutoCAD files for quick edits.
- Provide comprehensive calculations alongside the drawing package for review and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards.
- Revise drawings based on feedback and ensure timely delivery of final designs.
What You Bring
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software.
- Strong understanding of building design principles, particularly for polesheds and wood structures.
- Ability to perform structural calculations related to foundations and building components.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience with other design tools or software.
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations related to wood structures.
- Previous experience in a project-based engineering role.
