Part-Time Claims Coordinator — US Auto Insurance

Pay: $7–$12 USD/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1–5 PM New York time (20 hours/week)
TotalGain helps vehicle owners resolve total-loss valuation disputes. We’re looking for a confident English-speaking coordinator to support our case managers with insurance follow-ups and client communication.
Responsibilities
- Call and email insurance adjusters to follow up on appraiser assignments.
- Follow up on updated settlement statements and payments after appraisal.
- Help resolve settlement discrepancies involving loan payoffs, deductions, or calculation errors.
- Answer client questions, collect documents, and provide progress updates.
- Maintain accurate case notes and follow through on outstanding issues.
You must remain available throughout the scheduled shift, handling emails and case updates between calls. All scheduled working hours are paid, including time spent waiting for callbacks and reviewing cases.
Requirements
- Strong spoken and written English.
- Experience handling US customer calls; insurance, billing, or loan servicing experience is a plus.
- Comfortable asking follow-up questions and handling pushback professionally.
- Organized, reliable, and attentive to numbers.
- Quiet workspace, reliable internet, and a good headset.
Training on our workflow is provided.
Please note: This is an overnight shift in the Philippines: Tuesday–Saturday, 1–5 AM during US daylight saving time and 2–6 AM during US standard time.
