LDN Inventory Solutions is a London-based property inventory and inspection company working with letting agents, landlords and property professionals.
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused remote team member to carry out the final quality check of property inventory, check-in and check-out reports before they are issued to clients.
You will receive reports completed by our property inspectors through our inventory software. Your responsibility will be to review each report carefully, identify errors or inconsistencies, make appropriate administrative corrections, and ensure completed reports are professionally presented and sent to the correct client.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing completed inventory, check-in and check-out reports
Checking spelling, grammar, formatting and professional presentation
Checking that rooms, items and descriptions appear complete
Reviewing photographs and ensuring they correspond appropriately with the report
Spotting obvious inconsistencies, duplicate information or missing sections
Checking meter readings, keys and other required information where applicable
Making minor corrections directly within the reporting system
Flagging potentially significant errors or missing information to management rather than making assumptions
Ensuring the correct property, tenant/client and inspection details are shown
Sending approved reports to clients
Updating the job status once the report has been checked and issued
Keeping an accurate record of any reports requiring further action
Working to same-day deadlines where required
What we're looking for: Excellent written English is essential. You should have very strong attention to detail, be comfortable reviewing photographs and written descriptions for extended periods, have good computer skills and be able to work independently. You must be reliable and comfortable following a defined quality-control checklist.
Experience in UK property, lettings, inventories or property management would be advantageous but is not essential, as training will be provided.
You should also be comfortable learning software such as InventoryBase and following LDN Inventory Solutions' internal procedures.
The ideal person is someone who: notices small mistakes others miss, doesn't simply approve a report because it “looks okay”, understands when to correct something and when to escalate it, works quickly without sacrificing accuracy, and can be trusted to send client-facing work without constant supervision.
