Social Media VA for Art Platform (Captions, Canva, Scheduling) – Part-Time Remote
We are seeking a detail-oriented Social Media Virtual Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our art platform's online presence through engaging content creation and effective scheduling.
What You'll Do
- Edit short-form video content (Reels/TikTok-style clips) from raw footage, including trimming, pacing, adding captions/subtitles, selecting music, and resizing for 9:16 format.
- Create visually appealing carousel posts in Canva using images and text provided by our team.
- Write engaging captions based on facts, notes, or voice memos we supply to ensure our messaging resonates with our audience.
- Schedule and publish content across various social media platforms to maintain an active online presence.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in video editing and familiarity with tools for creating short-form content.
- Proficiency in Canva for designing social media graphics and posts.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear and engaging captions.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage scheduling and publishing tasks effectively.
- A passion for art and social media, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- 1+ years writing social captions for a real brand
- Strong written English, reliable, can work from a brief with minimal back-and-forth
- Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices.
Role Details
- Work Mode: Remote
- Salary: $7/hr min, Paid trial task (one video edit, one carousel) before ongoing hire.
