As a Finance Director for a large-scale theme park development project, you will lead financial operations in a On-Site setting. This pivotal role requires a hands-on leader to oversee financial strategy, CAPEX management, and governance during the construction phase of a €500M+ project in Shenzhen.
What will your day look like?
You will be at the forefront of financial activities, ensuring everything aligns with project milestones.
- Lead all financial activities for a major CAPEX project (~€500M+)
- Develop and execute financial strategy tailored to project timelines
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control throughout the construction phase
- Establish and maintain robust financial governance and compliance frameworks
- Manage relationships with joint venture partners, government entities, and banks
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership and global stakeholders
- Operate in a lean team environment, maintaining a hands-on approach
What experience do you need?
To excel in this role, you should bring a wealth of relevant experience and expertise.
- Proven experience in construction-phase finance (not operational finance)
- Background in large-scale infrastructure, construction, energy, or capital-intensive projects
- Strong experience managing high-value CAPEX budgets
- Demonstrated ability to operate in complex stakeholder/JV environments
- Fluency in Mandarin (required)
- Willingness to be based on-site in Shenzhen
- Open to global relocation (preference for candidates with international exposure)
