We are seeking a reliable Video Editor to join our team in a Remote capacity. In this full-time role, you will create engaging, social media-ready short clips from long-form video content. You will receive specific timestamps and examples of preferred editing styles, allowing you to enhance videos with captions, sound effects, B-roll, and other engaging visual elements.
What You'll Do
- Edit long-form video content into short, engaging clips suitable for social media platforms.
- Add captions, sound effects, and B-roll to enhance the storytelling and viewer engagement.
- Follow provided timestamps and editing style examples to maintain consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with the content team to understand project requirements and deadlines.
- Manage daily editing assignments, ensuring timely delivery of a varying number of clips each day.
- Stay updated on the latest video editing trends and techniques to continually improve content quality.
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their video content requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions and guidelines.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
