About the role
We're hiring a Social Media / Content Assistant to own the visual quality and flow of our Instagram. You'll plan the content grid, choose the right visuals, write cover titles, and review reels for quality against our editing instructions before they go live. This is the person who makes sure everything is on-brand, varied, and mistake-free.
What you'll do
- Plan the content grid — map out upcoming reels, choose cover photos, write cover titles, and decide where each title sits visually so the grid looks intentional and cohesive.
- Curate for visual diversity — make sure the grid isn't repetitive: vary outfits, angles, and poses so it looks dynamic.
- Review reels for quality — check each reel against our reel-instructions SOP (PDF) and flag exactly what's wrong or could be improved (captions, pacing, format, cover, CTA) before it's published.
- Coordinate with the editor — hand over selected photos, cover titles, and placement notes; send back clear, specific revision notes.
- Keep content organized — files, schedule, and the posting queue.
Must-have requirements
- Strong visual eye for Instagram aesthetics and grid composition.
- Detail-oriented and precise — you catch mistakes others miss and hold work to a high standard.
- Excellent written English — your revision notes must be clear and specific.
- Follows instructions exactly — you'll review against detailed SOPs.
- Solid understanding of Instagram Reels and current short-form best practices.
- Organized, reliable, communicates proactively.
Nice to have
- Light design skills (covers/thumbnails).
- Experience managing a content calendar or social grid.
