Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to help support our growing online resale business. This role includes customer service, Whatnot live sale support, post-order issue resolution, review management, light accounting/admin work, and listing/show preparation.
We need someone proactive, organized, and comfortable handling a variety of tasks. If you are a strong communicator, quick learner, and good with systems, this could be a long-term role.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support live Whatnot shows by typing out item sizes and details in the stream chat
- Help prepare listings and shows before they go live
- Upload product photos and fill in listing details
- Use AI tools to help generate keyword-rich product titles
- Assist with pre-bids / buy-it-now setup and listing organization
- Respond to customer questions about:
- tracking
- delayed shipments
- damaged or dirty items
- order issues
- general product concerns
- Process refunds, returns, and return labels when needed
- Handle negative reviews professionally and try to resolve customer issues
- Follow up with customers after orders to encourage positive reviews and repeat purchases
- Provide light admin/accounting support as needed
- Help keep backend operations organized and efficient
Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience in e-commerce, customer support, or virtual assistant work
- Strong written English and can communicate clearly and professionally
- Comfortable dealing with upset customers and solving problems calmly
- Very detail-oriented and organized
- Familiar with Whatnot, Dropbox, Google Sheets, or similar tools
- Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT for titles, messaging, and workflow support
- Can work independently and follow instructions well
- Bonus if you have experience with online reselling, live selling, or review management
