UDO Transport LLC is a start-up based in Raleigh, NC, dedicated to providing dependable non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) and courier services to individuals across the Raleigh-Durham region. We transport seniors, patients with mobility challenges, and individuals with complex medical needs — with a mission rooted in safety, dignity, and reliability.
As we grow, we're building a lean, remote-friendly team to help us scale our operations and continue delivering exceptional service to our clients and partners.
The Role
We're looking for a proactive, organized, and communicative Virtual Assistant to support our daily operations and help us grow. You'll work closely with our founder and team to handle a wide range of administrative, customer-facing, and marketing tasks. This is a great opportunity to grow with a purpose-driven company in the healthcare transportation space.
Responsibilities
Client & Communication Support
- Respond to incoming emails and client inquiries promptly and professionally
- Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to clients, partners, and facilities
- Represent UDO Transport with a warm, professional tone in all communications
Business Development
- Research and reach out to healthcare facilities, clinics, assisted living communities, and home health agencies for potential partnership opportunities
- Track outreach efforts and follow up consistently
Scheduling & Coordination
- Schedule and confirm client appointments and transportation pickups
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely, accurate delivery and pickup
- Monitor and track deliveries, providing updates as needed
Administrative & Records
- Maintain organized client records and operational data
- Perform accurate data entry and manage documentation
- Support general administrative tasks as assigned
Marketing & Social Media
- Manage and post content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Assist with marketing campaigns, email outreach, and promotional content
- Conduct market research and compile reports on competitors, trends, or leads
Website & SEO
- Assist with basic website updates and content management (WordPress)
- Support SEO efforts including keyword research, content updates, and performance tracking
Ideal Candidate
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills — you will be client-facing
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drive)
- Familiar with WordPress for basic website edits and updates
- Organized, self-motivated, and dependable — you manage your time well and follow through without being micromanaged
- Previous VA or customer service experience is required
- Experience in healthcare, medical transportation, or a related field is a plus (but not required)
- Comfortable making and receiving calls in English
